Credit Risk & Process Improvement Analyst
We are looking for a dynamic and analytical professional to strengthen our Credit Control team.
This role combines financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and continuous process improvement, contributing directly to sound decision-making, operational efficiency, and stronger internal controls.
You will interact with multiple stakeholders (Finance, Operations, IT, Sales, and Insurers), playing a key role in safeguarding financial performance while driving smarter and more efficient processes.
Main Responsibilities
Credit Risk Analysis
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, including balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow assessments.
- Monitor credit exposure and overall portfolio performance.
- Support the definition and review of credit risk policies and limit frameworks.
- Manage credit insurance policies, including limit requests, claims, and renewals.
- Act as a key contact for insurers, supporting negotiations and ensuring coverage adequacy.
Process Management & Continuous Improvement
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks.
- Develop and implement automation solutions (e.g., Excel macros, dashboards, Power BI, ERP enhancements).
- Automate reports, analyses, and operational routines to support faster, data‑driven decision‑making.
- Drive digitalization and/or robotization initiatives in collaboration with IT and RPA teams.
Profile
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in credit risk analysis, financial analysis, credit insurance, financial services, or operations analysis, process improvement, or data science.
- Knowledge of credit scoring models and risk assessment tools.
- Ability to negotiate with insurers and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA (mandatory) and credit management software (plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with dashboards or automation tools is a strong plus.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English (mandatory); German (preferred / strong plus)
- Proactive mindset with a strong interest in automation, digitalization, and new technologies.
- Strong problem‑solving attitude, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, take ownership, move quickly, and promote continuous improvement.
