Consolidation & Reporting Technician

The impact of your role

 

As a Consolidation & Reporting Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of financial information across the Group. You will contribute directly to the integrity of financial reporting and consolidation processes, supporting informed decision-making at a global level while working closely with accounting and controlling teams across multiple geographies.

 

Main responsibilities

 

  • Perform accounting activities for Group companies, including accruals/deferrals, fixed assets, leases, costs, and inventory
  • Analyse trial balances, accounts, and variances, ensuring the quality of financial information
  • Execute closing activities, allocation cycles, and foreign currency revaluations
  • Support consolidation processes, including intercompany reconciliations, system reporting, and consolidation adjustments
  • Prepare and validate reporting packages for Group financial reporting
  • Liaise with accounting and controlling teams across different geographies

 

 

Desired profile 

What you must have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience in accounting (preferably in multinational or shared services environments)
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles (IFRS)
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English (mandatory), both written and spoken
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with SAP (R/3 or S/4HANA)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data

 

What we consider a nice to have:

  • Proficiency in German (written and spoken) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with intercompany reconciliation processes
  • Knowledge of financial consolidation systems (e.g., BPC, Group Reporting, Tagetik, etc.)
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and fast-paced environment
  • Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to optimize and automate processes
