Cybersecurity Trainee

Join a dynamic cybersecurity team, working together to strengthen cybersecurity at Sonae Arauco.


You will be a member of cybersecurity team on an ambitious roadmap of initiatives / projects (CSIRP, Zero Trust Remote Access Deployment, Ransomware Readiness Assessments, …)
As a cybersecurity trainee engineer, you will learn about cybersecurity through a broad range of tasks, including the day-to-day support for security information and event management (SIEM), interacting daily with our SOC provider
You will aim to provide assurance in cybersecurity operation and engineering, as well as staying current to potential threats. In your daily work, you will interact with other people from within the multinational company (both for IT and OT) and externally, including suppliers and customers, technical specialists, non-specialists, and peers.
Monitor security vulnerability information from vendors and third parties
Analyses and evaluates security threats and hazards to a system, service, or process
Provide cyber incident response support
Develop and maintain documentation for security systems and procedures
Research, recommend, evaluate, and implement cybersecurity solutions that identify and/or protect against potential threats, and respond to security violations
Compile security reports
Identify opportunities for improvement

Profile:

Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, ideally with a focus on Cybersecurity or equivalent experience
Enjoy working in a multicultural and multinational team with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Eager to learn and work with cybersecurity and related topics
Fast learner with the ability to work on their own as well as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-organized, curious, autonomous, focused on details and results oriented
Able to professionally handle confidential matters
Willing to travel in line with the requirements of the Cybersecurity program
Fluent and proficient in English
