Junior Sustainability Analyst

Main  Responsibilities:

 

  • Support the execution and monitoring of the sustainability strategy and carbon neutrality roadmap.
  • Collect, validate, and organize sustainability data from multiple sources.
  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness for reporting and compliance.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards using Excel tools (pivot tables, formulas) to analyze trends and performance vs sustainbility and climate targets.
  • Maintain updated emission factors and ensure proof of evidence for audits and compliance checks.
  • Organize sustainability documentation and team resources for easy access.
  • Contribute to CSRD reporting, Science Based Targets application, UN Global Compact progress communication and Customer Requests on Sustainability information and performance.
  • Support and actively enable other teams to implement sustainability initiatives.
  • Clarify data requirements and provide guidance to other teams on required sustainability data.

 

Profile:

 

  • Relevant education in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field (other backgrounds considered).
  • Strong interest in sustainability topics such as Carbon Accounting, Decarbonization, Circularity, ESG Compliance, and Reporting.
  • Experience or strong aptitude for data management and reporting with advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data validation (highly valued).
  • Positive and professional approach, with a strong interest in developing sustainability knowledge.
  • Good communication skills to clarify data requirements and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus).
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
