Sales Assistant

We are looking for a Sales Assistant as sick leave cover.

The impact of your role

Ensure the effective execution of the customer order management process, guaranteeing on-time deliveries, transparent communication, and efficient resolution of issues, thereby contributing to customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention, while supporting the company's commercial performance and business results.

Main responsibilities

• Receive and process Portugal Sales team orders according to Sonae Arauco’s commercial policies and procedures;
• Coordinate and monitor the clients orders’ production and dispatch, ensuring compliance with the agreed delivery time;
• Keep clients informed of the order’s status and estimated delivery date;
• Record and follow up client’s commercial complaints, liaising them with the respective teams, and if needed preparing credit notes;
• Manage the client order book – quantities and portfolio – and identify alternatives and solutions for the client.

Desired profile 

What you must have:

• Minimum secondary education required
• Proactive and results oriented
• Excellent communication skills and good problem solving skills
• Goals, results and customer-oriented;
• Ability to work in a team environment, as well as to collaborate cross functionally;
• Good proficiency in SAP and MS Office
