We are recruiting an experienced Quality Manager, will be in charge of planning, organizing and directing the quality activities for Valladolid Plant in accordance with the standards, internal procedures and legislation and consequently the satisfaction of internal and external customers' expectations

The main responsibilities will be:

To manage the Quality management system, maintenance, updating and revision of the standards, quality specifications and working protocols in the control of the quality of the processes and the products
To guarantee the homologation/certification of the products manufactured in collaboration with the certifying entities, by means of the monitoring and analysis of statistical indicators, developing procedures and actions
To guarantee the management of changes in the process/product or materials in order to avoid impacting the product (physical-mechanical characteristics), the client (requirements), the environment/safety or the factory indicators (rejections, disqualifications).
To ensure compliance and review of the control plan for both raw materials and products taking into account the client's special applications or characteristics.
To ensure the management of the customer complaints/alerts database, ensuring compliance with the rules defined in terms of escalation of the 8d's, QDR both internally and externally (client).
To define the need to audit providers and ensure the execution of the associated PDCA
To coordinate/support customer audits and certification authority (System or product) when requested.
To reinforce the support to the factory continuous improvement teams related to external quality problems (complaints) or internal (disqualifications, blocking of materials), promoting knowledge of the process approach and risk-based thinking.

Requirements

University degree in engineering ( chemical, mechanical, industrial) or comparable education
Must have at least 5 years of experience working and knowledge in industrial environment in Quality Department 3 of these years as a Quality Manager in industrial factory, or Production Manager, Customer interaction, Supplier Management, Project Management.
Knowledge of certification processes in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001
Accustomed to the use of quality tools and process improvement as well as problem solving tools (5W2H, 8D,FTA,PDCA,5 WHY)
Oral and written communication in English is required
Proficiency in MS Office Programs, SAP
Previous experience leading a team
Analytical, assertive, make decisions, logical and problem solving oriented
Residence in Valladolid or province
